KANDU’s Guardian Advocate Program (GAP) is a certified corporate guardianship program focused on assisting individuals with decision-making in the least restrictive way possible.
What is Adult Guardianship?
Guardianship is appointed by a court of law to an agency (or person) who serves to assist individuals in making life decisions. Clients involved in this program receive support and advocacy pertaining to medical, financial, personal and social needs. Our primary focus is to assist and support individuals to ensure their health, safety and happiness.
Guardianship Advocate Program Serves:
- Adults with Developmental Disabilities
- Adults with infirmities of aging
- Persons with Traumatic Brain Injuries
- Those affected by various mental health conditions
