Day Services/Memory Care

Leaving an elderly or disabled family member at home alone during the day can be worrisome and inconvenient. KANDU's Day Services/Memory Care Program is an activities oriented program that offers a home-like environment in which to spend those daytime hours.

The Day Services/Memory Care Program emphasizes improvement in physical, mental and social well-being through expert care and an understanding of each participant's individual abilities.

The program offers:
  • Activities oriented programming
  • Homey environment
  • Individual Service Plans (ISP's)
  • Community Outings
  • Nutritional meals served family style
  • Safety and security
  • Respite for care providers
  • Self-esteem and independence building
  • New friendships with staff and other participants

Staff include a nurse, music theapist and certified nursing assistants with training in medication administration and CPR.

KANDU Day Services/Memory Care Program is available Monday through Friday 8:30am to 3pm, except on major holidays.
