KANDU’s Day Services/Memory Care and Increased Support Program (ISP) recently participated in a “Cowboy Day”. Karen from ISP spoke to the group about her son’s bull riding days, presenting pictures and equipment worn during his almost decade-long career. Several clients even had the opportunity to try on his vest and chaps! ISP then shared a poem they had written collaboratively about being a cowboy. A special “Happy Trails” lunch followed, along with a western movie. Clients in attendance had a wonderful time, judging by the frequent smiles and enthusiastic participation.
