Community Employment

KANDU Industries, Inc. Community Employment program has been in existence since 2009. Our Program Managers connect with area businesses in an effort to help identify and develop employment opportunities in the community for persons with barriers to employment.

What We Offer Our Clients

  • Employment Preparation – Resume development, application assistance and interview techniques
  • Job Development – Network with employers to identify job openings on your behalf
  • Job Placement – Assistance with obtaining a job opportunity that is individualized according to your goals
  • Systematic Instruction and Long Term Support – One on one coaching and individualized training to help you learn your job and responsibilities
  • Job Shadow – An hour long opportunity to observe the requirements needed to obtain/maintain a certain position

This is all dependent on your DVR Individualized Plan for Employment.

In order to provide these services. KANDU has partnered with Wisconsin’s Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).
