Congratulations to Best Events Executive Chef Chris Gebhardt for earning the two top awards during the YWCA’s Cookin’ for a Cause fundraising event at the Janesville Country Club. On October 12th, Chef Gebhardt received accolades for “Best Food Item,” as well as the “People’s Choice” award for his bleu cheese and basil infused grits with braised beef short ribs and caramelized jalapeno cream reduction. Numerous esteemed chefs from the area’s best restaurants offered their expertly crafted dishes to over 350 guests, as well as a panel of judges. Chef Gebhardt and the entire Best Events team continues to make KANDU proud with their hard work and talent!
