Three Locations

About Us

KANDU Industries is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides opportunities to people with disabilities or disadvantages. For almost 60 years, these work, social, and daily activities enable KANDU clients to achieve their maximum potential and enjoy the dignity of being productive citizens. We are not about care giving… we’re about developing independence. In 1961, a small group of parents and supportive community leaders met to find ways to meet the employment needs of their sons and daughters with disabilities. By 1964, KANDU obtained its first outsourced work contracts from Parker Pen and American Baton companies. Over the years, KANDU has experienced tremendous growth and today, KANDU impacts the lives of over 200 “clients” (persons with disabilities or disadvantages) along with a staff of over 100.

KANDU provides industrial services to outside companies supplying them with high quality production, quick turnaround times, and competitively priced custom services. With multiple locations, we perform high-volume packaging, assembly, and other production services.

Through KANDU’s Catering and Rentals we offer Janesville and the surrounding communities high-quality event services with all proceeds benefiting our client programs. When customers choose KANDU for their event needs, they know they are empowering more than 200 individuals to pursue greater independence and explore their limitless potential.

KANDU’s many on and off-site programs and commercial operations all aim at serving people with disabilities or disadvantages.

Located in Janesville, Wisconsin, near the Wisconsin-Illinois border, KANDU Industries, Inc. is convenient to Chicago – O’Hare, Milwaukee – Mitchell, Madison and Rockford airports, and Interstate highways I-90/94, I-39, and I-43.
