🎃 Our clients in Day Services let their creativity shine this week by painting pumpkins they picked up from our trip to Busy Barns Adventure Farm! Not only did this fun fall activity tap into their artistic talents, but it also helped build motor skills—all while enjoying the spirit of the ...season. Thank you to Busy Barns for the pumpkins and the unforgettable experience! 🍂

KANDU’s Minds in Motion and Day Services programs had an amazing day at Busy Barns Adventure Farm in Fort Atkinson last week. Clients got to pet and feed the animals, enjoy a hayride and a picnic lunch, and pick out a pumpkin to take home! We truly appreciate the staff at Busy Barns who went ...above and beyond to make clients feel comfortable and helped assist us on and off the hayride. What a wonderful fall day! 🍁🍂

Kathy Hansen, executive director of KANDU Industries, said Tuesday’s news felt like the Super Bowl, coming just a week after the grand opening of its new site in Milton.

“We are over the moon. It took a team of people to apply for the grant and we are just so excited that we were one ...of the nonprofits who were chosen,” Hansen said.

It's fall, and at KANDU that means trips to Skelly's Farm Market are on the calendar! 🍁🍂Clients in Livin' & Learnin' and Minds in Motion recently explored Skelly's, posed for some photo ops, and got a little lost in the corn maze!

Riding in style! Day Services/Memory Care clients took turns riding two-seater bikes. Our clients enjoy being outside while also getting a bit of fun exercise!

Clients in KANDU's Adult Day Services/Memory Care program spend the day with a group of peers in a comfortable home-like ...setting where they build independence and self-esteem in a nurturing and secure environment while their primary caregivers are afforded the critical respite they need.

Milton's Knights of Columbus club officers came to KANDU to help us complete some painting projects throughout the building. We can't thank these gentleman enough for helping us make our new space feel like home. 💙
