KANDU's Livin' & Learnin' clients visited Lakeside Fire-Rescue and got the full tour from the crew. We tried on uniforms, sat in the rig, and talked to the firefighters about their jobs. Thank you to Lakeside Fire-Rescue for being so welcoming -- our clients had a super fun day ...exploring the station!

Brian Morello and Aisllyn, a program director and student at Beloit College, and Jennifer Tennican, a film director, joined clients and staff to learn more about KANDU’s mission. Jennifer directed the film Hearts of Glass, a documentary about meaningful employment opportunities for people with ...disabilities, which was shown at the Beloit International Film Festival this year. Thanks to Brian, Aisllyn, and Jennifer for joining us to share stories and learn from each other.

KANDU has added a key leadership position to our management team and appointed Isaiah Vance, who has dedicated almost 10 years of his career to KANDU, as Client Services Compliance Director.

In his new role, Vance will provide effective oversight and accountability for compliance with the ...State of Wisconsin, contracted managed care organizations, and other funding sources related to the organization’s client services division.
